As I browsed openrice this evening, I found that a place I'm so proud of is among the best in the site - Hot Dog Link. For your information, I used to visit Hot Dog Link for tea while my friends and I were waiting during the study room break, in both the AL and CE periods. Will I ever get the chance to visit Hot Dog Link again?

There're two other recommendations in the vicinity, namely Le Bon Pain and 味芳. Le Bon Pain, as its name suggests, "the good bread" in French. 味芳, a good 車仔麵 shop which brings many memories.

I spent most of the day moving to my new room. The next major focus is having a meeting for I Day.. It's 12:30 am (May 28) now, and I've finally finished putting things back in order, and took a few pix. Given that I don't have a 14mm wide angle, I can only do my best stitching those pix together in photoshop. I hope u'll like it.

What about studying? Well, it'll start right afterwards.

Losing grip

Well, things seem harder to control than ever. Even my tweet-like updates have failed to be sustainable. How am I going to focus on studying? I'm not so sure. But I've proposed a formula though. It requires air-conditioning, a place where I can read as I read, and a tranquil but not necessarily silent environment. Well, I have none of them at this moment. But I hope things will change as I move to 1202 on Wed.

Well, this is what a friend sent me. Do you understand what this cartoon film wants to imply?

Another thing is that I finally did some research on Safari 4's launch ~~video~~ animation, and mystery finally solved. If you read this site, you'll see why it is not a video but an animation - it was written purely with scripts, not from a video editing software. It's a very clever adoption of HTML 5 and CSS animation, isn't it?

So, CS I has begun. No, our tutor is not Carl Leung and we're not doing forensics. CS means clinical skills period. We still have Carl Wu though, which is great. We expected Chu Chu to be another tutor, but were only told today that it's going to be Lisa Cheung instead. Is this a blessing or a curse? Who is the lesser evil, CH Chu or Lisa Cheung? Not sure, and I just hope I'll survive next week's presentation to Lisa Cheung..

We intended to yum cha at 蓮香居 today, but apparently we failed. Perhaps we're just not old school enough to survive in that place - will try later.

Exam is coming really soon, and I'm starting to get nervous. Kevin, prey.

Morning update

it's 10 am in the morning. Few university students wake up so early on a Saturday morning. For me, I'm doing this because I'm making a difference to my students. But apparently I'll have to wait until I can make those differences - my students are usually late for their Saturday Math class. Anyway..

Another reason for this update is that it's been long since the last. But basically, not much have been done during these few days. Basically, there's only been revision and waste of time. By waste of time, I mean the time devoted to distraction while studying, such as playing restaurant city. Yes, I'm starting to get addicted to restaurant city. So, feel free to trade food with me.

Btw, just a few more pix to show. One is 燒鴨瀨 (aka 天瀨) from 波記, another is some pasta from SH. Both are nice, isn't it?

Time for update

Alright, enough mourning for the cat. Time to move on. jk.. I've long forgotten the cat. I just don't have the time to update until now. So, here're what happened for the past few days:

29/4: Visited Oral Health Education Unit at Homantin. A nice and interesting visit. Lunch at MK afterwards with friends, and then got a pair of apple in-ear headphones, which replaces my malfunctioning original iPhone headset. Nice for listening to acoustic songs, but if you prefer heavier bass you may need to switch on EQ. (For those earphone L, don't blame me for buying apple's not-so-pro earphones. I'm really not buying sound quality..) Dinner at 金水.

30/4: Polyclinic in the morning. Did some scaling for my patient. As we waited for hell, which is short for EGM + Council in the evening (which turned out to be from 6 to 9.30), we played some mahjong at my hall, and then headed for 金水. So I had 金水 twice in less than 24 hrs. Cool..

2/5: F.3 Math class in the morning. And finally dumped my student, albeit not officially.

3/5: NAD

Today: T2 in the morning - the last of the year. Then skipped resource session and took a course in the afternoon. (Kevin, are you sure you still have quota to skip?) The course itself was of nothing special. What's interesting is what happened afterwards.. Haha I'm not going to share the story here. But a few of you should've known.

Ok, I've finally posted what I need to post. Perhaps one thing missing, but that's always in PS, isn't it?
