November, like always, has been a stressful month. There's been lots of books to read, lots of projects to do and lots of deadlines to meet. This will last at least one more week because we'll have two other LA classes next week. What about afterwards? Holidays! But with so many things to study, so much stress to cope with and so many trivial stuff to worry about, Christmas won't be so much like Christmas anymore. We'll need to hope for more time, and more hope.

I delivered my first injections yesterday. Actually it wasn't that difficult, and infiltration technique really won't make you feel too much pain. Stress was even more torturing when we were injecting each other. Luckily, we all survived.

PS Actually, I don't like 永遠幾遠 that much. It's too Joey.. It's not bad though.

Life is full of things unexpected. Sometimes, when you have plans, just one thing could fuck the whole thing up.

Yes, I have plans now. But because of time, it just can't happen. It's a terribly wrong timing, I'd say. What should I do then? Maybe wait, or just let it go. Who knows what could happen in a few months? I need change. Unfortunately, no, I can't.

Well, I am really fuxking busy these days. Being busy is not new to me though. I used to cope with my work, regardless of how busy I was, very well. My record back in F.7 was really remarkable - lab reports, revision, blogging, ... All finished within one night. Yes, I sometimes sacrificed a little bit of sleeping time, but I enjoyed myself working alone at home relaxingly, peacefully, and quietly. You see, the key here is quiet. Had someone been bothering, I could never have achieved so much.

But then all these seems to be ruined once I've moved to hall. First of all, I have a roomate, meaning that it's impossible to work alone now. And then last night because of an upcoming singing contest, my roomate kept singing Viva la Vida, even at 3 am. Well, I do talk on phone while you're here, sometimes even fight, but I never sing.

I then decided to move to 1/F's multi-purpose room, only to find that some exchange students transformed it into a cinema. They actually had a projector and speakers with subwoofer (which I had no idea where the heck they got them from).. Anyway it was already better than a few hours ago, when I went there to photocopy while they were clubbing with that same damn speaker. Yes, clubbing! Perhaps it's time that I amplify Richard's message, "I'm nearly out of patience. I won't be so polite next time."

Well, today's quite special in that for the first time in months, I go out on Sunday. We worked on a project, and then we had a nice dinner at 北京拉麵店. How was it? As I've said, it's nice. They have a lobster+shark fin+lots and lots of food set dinner for $198, but unfortunately we didn't have that. Our food was OK enough, and it worths paying a visit.

Anyway when I passed by FW as I was going home, I found that I was lucky enough to witness the wraps of the x'mas tree pulled off. So, let's go to FW to take a few pix of the tree when it's officially launched. (For your information, just in case, I take an album of FW's tree every year. In fact, you can see them here, here, here, and even earlier..)

Trip to Tai O, etc.

First of all, I regret that I didn't write something on Monday, right after my trip to Tai O. I mean, there're too little to write these days. What else can I write if I don't even try to write on such a special day?

Anyway the day wasn't really so special. It's just that I really love taking random pictures. I am not a hardcore fan of photography, I've never thought of buying a pro camera. It's more satisfying to take photos and then find something really nice than keep disappointing yourself. Anyway, to see those pix, see below, or more at my flickr album.

Btw, I gave myself a day off today, but I did nothing significant. I really hate myself for this.

Absence

An email was sent to me today, telling me I've been absent twice since September, or three if today's is included as well. Is that too much or too little? I'm not so sure, but I guess I'm not the one having the least absence. I never am.

What made me skip this afternoon's session then? I was actually very free this afternoon, but I just can't let some occasional extra sessions ruin my life. So, thanks, but no thanks.

The new module has passed a whole week, and I just didn't have the chance to say anything about that. Well, the new module means the day we have to deal with McGrath is finally over. From now on, we can daydream at tutorials as long as we want.

Meanwhile, life gets tougher. We have lots to read for PBL and for sim lab. And sometimes there are really lots of worries: is my skills good enough? How much am I supposed to read? There are really too much to worry these days. It's not too tough, but it's definitely stressful.
